What is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)?

A core goal of CBT is to identify and change thinking patterns and core beliefs, which can cloud your wisdom, negatively affect your mood, and influence you to act in harmful ways.

Using CBT, Menla will help you become more aware of how your thoughts, feelings and behaviours influence each other. Our counsellors will also guide you to challenge negative thinking patterns and core beliefs.

CBT has been validated by research for the treatment of major depression, general anxiety and phobias.

CBT may help if you want to:

Improve your mood or self esteem

Manage anxiety or anger more effectively

Recover from depression
